Showroom & Trunk Shows

How can I see your products in person?

Our current collection is available to view and try on at our New York showroom. When visiting the showroom, you can also explore an expanded curation of fabrics and models available exclusively through our made-to-measure program.

In addition to our New York showroom, you can see our collection at any Stòffa trunk shows. Past events have been held in Los Angeles, San Francisco, London, Paris, and Stockholm.

Book an appointment or sign up for our mailing list for information on any upcoming events.

What is a trunk show?

If you can’t make it to our flagship showroom, Stòffa trunk shows are your opportunity to interact with our products and team in person. They are limited-time installations where our specialists can guide you through our exclusive products and conduct fittings for our made-to-measure series. Read more and view our upcoming trunk show schedule here.

Do I need an appointment to visit your showroom or trunk show?

Yes, our showroom and trunk shows are open exclusively by appointment unless otherwise noted. Working by appointment ensures that our product specialists can give you their undivided attention. If you’re interested in booking an appointment you can do so here.

Am I obligated to buy something if I make an appointment?

Not at all. You're more than welcome to simply explore our products and ask any questions you might have. We believe in building a wardrobe through an ongoing dialogue and are here to help you through the process.

Can I purchase Stòffa accessories at your showroom or trunk show?

Yes, absolutely. Any orders placed can be delivered in person or shipped directly to your designated location.

Made-To-Measure

What is made-to-measure?

Our made-to-measure service allows you to choose from an expanded curation of seasonal fabrics and models, and customize the fit of these models to suit your individual body type and preferences.

How does Stòffa made-to-measure work?

The first step is to make an appointment with us. During your initial appointment you can browse our complete product range and work with our specialists to identify the combination of material, style, and fit that best suit you.

At this time, we can also take your measurements for any models you're interested in. Starting with your closest fixed size, we will take notes on necessary adjustments and individual preferences.

Once an order is placed, we begin crafting your garment, which takes approximately 6 weeks to complete. We'll then arrange a second appointment to deliver your order and review the fit.

A detailed profile is kept for each client to make the reorder process simple and easy—it can even be done remotely.

How long will my appointment take?

Your initial appointment will take about 45 minutes. Subsequent appointments generally take 30 minutes or less.

How long will it take for my made-to-measure garments to arrive?

Made-to-measure orders are delivered approximately 6 weeks from the order date. On occasion, alterations are necessary at the time of delivery, and are completed as quickly as possible. Please note that if this is your first order for a particular model, we aim to deliver it in-person to ensure the fit is to your liking.

How many fittings are required for Stòffa made-to-measure?

Initial orders require at least one in-person appointment so you can explore our collection and be measured by one of our specialists. Ideally, a second in-person appointment is arranged to deliver your order and allow us to review the fit to ensure that everything is to your liking. That said, if you’re unable to pick up your order in person we can have it shipped to you and arrange a fit review at a later date.

Which items in your collection are available made-to-measure?

All Stòffa clothing is available made-to-measure unless otherwise noted.

Can I make modifications to your models?

The fit of each garment can be customized to suit your individual style and preferences, and you can choose to have it made in any of the available materials and colors. That said, we do not offer any changes to product design elements. The details on our products are thoughtfully designed and thoroughly wear tested, with each playing an important role in the utility of the garment.

Can I provide my own fabric for a made-to-measure order?

Each model is offered in a variety of different materials and colors; however, we work exclusively with our own fabrics as they've been specially developed and tested for our product range.

What if I need to alter or repair my item?

Should you require alterations or repairs, please email customercare@stoffa.co and someone from our team will be in touch to assist you.

Can I order Stòffa made-to-measure items online?

To ensure the best result, we require at least one in-person appointment to place your initial order for our made-to-measure clothing. However, once your measurements are on file for a particular model, we can process future orders through our web shop. You can learn more about remote ordering here.

Many of our products are also available made-to-order in stock sizes directly through our online store—no appointment necessary. You can browse the current collection here.

How much does Stòffa made-to-measure clothing cost?

The price of our made-to-measure clothing depends on both the model and the material selected. Our online store is a great reference point for pricing. For more specific inquiries please contact us at customercare@stoffa.co.

What is the difference between made-to-measure and made-to-order?

Made-to-order items are available in stock sizes, and only in the material and color shown on our online shop. You don’t need an in-person appointment to purchase these items, though you’re welcome to make one if you wish.

Is there an upcharge for the made-to-measure service?

No. Since all our products are individually crafted, there is generally no difference in price for made-to-measure and made-to-order.

If a client is outside of our existing fit range—for example, a size EU40 or EU62—and wants to try our made-to-measure service, we can accommodate them with a personal pattern. This option has a one-time surcharge per model. Repeat orders in the same model would not incur this cost. For more specific information please contact us at customercare@stoffa.co

Why do you produce on-demand rather keeping stock on hand?

Producing clothing on demand is a fundamental part of our commitment to personal service and responsible production. This model removes the guessing game from production, avoiding both the wastage of unused goods and the environmental impact tied to unnecessary production. It’s our hope that this will inspire more thoughtful consumption amongst our clients and a more careful approach by our contemporaries. You can read more about our approach here.

Knitwear

Will my knitwear shrink?

We recommend that you wash your knitwear in cold water and hang it to dry. Our cotton pique has been pre-washed to stabilize the fabric and control shrinkage, but about 2% shrinkage is still expected with washing. For this reason, if you are in between sizes we recommend going with the larger of the two sizes.

Please note that in some cases additional shrinkage of up to 3% may occur but is not permanent. The additional shrinkage is called ‘movement’ and is a result of the fabric constricting after washing. Light steam or a warm iron will relax the fibers, and the garment will return to its original shape less the maximum 2% shrinkage.

Is your knitwear available made-to-measure?

Yes, our knitwear is available both made-to-order in stock sizes and made-to-measure.
